Facades
VITRALUX – your partner for timeless &
contemporary facades.
With a facade from VITRALUX, there are virtually no limits to the solution competence and creativity of architects and builders. VITRALUX facades reflect a holistic view of architecture in that they are a protective shell, design element, heat accumulator, air conditioner, light source, fire and sound insulation all at the same time. Slim face widths, low construction depths and unsurpassable static values make facade profiles from VITRALUX the suitable partner for a timeless, contemporary facade.
Performance
Tailor-made individuality
What we offer is not standard products but fresh ideas for an innovative approach to construction. We combine excellent artisan abilities with industrial manufacturing.
That is why cooperation on every successful project starts with individual and competent counseling. Our VITRALUX sales engineers have a strong practical grounding and experience in the industry, and the flexibility to respond quickly to your project needs.
Our planning office takes the wishes and visions of clients and architects to produce the optimum working drawings. The components are then precision engineered in our modern product plant and workshops. High-grade materials are carefully processed to the highest standards of workmanship by our skilled personnel.
The VITRALUX package also includes punctual installation performed to perfection by our own trained fitters plus the backing of a reliable maintenance service.

Mullion-transom/curtain wall system
This facade system is designed for large facades. The design of mullion-transom facade gives a maximum water and air tightness and static load capacity with low visible width of profiles. The wide spectrum of insertion elements such as doors or windows can be used in this facade system. High insulate aluminum profiles, isolators and triple glazing guarantee a high insulation value up to “passive house level“.
In this way, thermal transmittance values (Uw) are achieved that are consistent with the requirements of passive houses, as well as with all buildings that cover their needs from their own energy.
VITRALUX glass and aluminum facades are installed wherever facades of large dimensions are needed for aesthetic or practical reasons, either to clad the building or to create three-dimensional structures in unusual shapes (pyramids, polygons, curved structures).

Element facade
Element facades are composed out of individual pre-fabricated elements. This results in a fast and economic installation with limited use of resources in manpower and tooling compared to traditional curtain walls. This construction principle is extremely suitable for high rise constructions, allowing for the necessary tolerances with regard to the building movement, and giving the opportunity to finish the building construction floor by floor allowing for parallel construction inside the building.
- sashes can be installed in the element facade, such as windows and french doors
- aluminum panels and opaque or enameled glass can be installed in the element facade, e.g. in the parapet and ceiling areas
- it can be adapted to any need for privacy protection by means of mirror glass or translucent panes
The individual elements of this facade are quickly and precisely assembled and connected to each other by means of special anchors that connect them to each other as well as to the building itself. The load-bearing elements are made of aluminum profiles with high thermal efficiency, while the fillings made of triple insulating glass provide high thermal as well as acoustic insulation. In this way, thermal transmittance values (Uw) are achieved that comply with the requirements of passive houses, as well as with all buildings that can cover their energy needs from their own passive energies.

Glass facades
Structural glazing systems, in their simplest form, are types of curtain wall systems consisting of glass that is bonded or anchored back to a structure without the use of continuously gasketed aluminum pressure plates or caps.
The elements used create an aesthetic added value for the building and also ensure excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. VITRALUX all-glass facades are glazed facades in which the use of the edge-molded panes allows the invisibility of the load-bearing post-and-beam structure that gives the structure its support.
The load-bearing elements, visible only from the inside of the building, are made of aluminum profiles with high thermal efficiency, while the filling is made of triple insulating glass, which guarantees thermal as well as acoustic insulation. In this way, thermal transmittance values (Uw) are achieved that comply with the requirements of passive houses, as well as with all buildings that can cover their energy needs from their own passive energies.

Ventilated facade
In the VITRALUX ventilated wall, the outer part made of glass or other material forms a layer that does not adhere to the infill wall, but is mounted at a certain distance from it to form an intermediate space. In this empty space, the air circulates naturally through convection created by the openings at the base and at the top of the facade itself.
VITRALUX ventilated facades protect the internal structure from moisture, reduce heat loss in winter and avoid excessive heating in summer, in any case greatly improving the performance of the building in terms of thermal insulation and performance.
We do that
Window wall
Window wall are continuous facades made of window elements. Window walls are installed in front of the slab, whereas window walls span the slab heights and are installed between the slabs. The height of the elements are limited to 3m.
This, of course, promotes internal lighting and increases the visual contact from the inside to the outside. Also, attention is drawn more to the aesthetic exterior of the building than to the interior spaces. The load-bearing parts of the VITRALUX window strips, which must not exceed the height of 3 m, are made of aluminum profiles with high thermal efficiency, while the filling is made of triple insulating glass, which guarantees the best thermal as well as acoustic insulation. In this way, thermal transmittance values (Uw) are achieved that comply with the requirements of passive houses, as well as with all buildings that can cover their energy needs from their own passive energies.
